Regarding text allignment in smartform

Hi experts,

I am printing the following text in my smartform

For interest on securities; dividends; interest other than "interest on securities"; winnings from lottery or crossword puzzle; winnings from horse race; payments to contractors and sub-contractors; insurance commission; payments to non-resident sportsmen/sports associations; payments in respect of deposits under National Savings Scheme; payments on account of repurchase of units by Mutual Fund or Unit Trust of India; commission, remuneration or prize on sale of lottery tickets; commision or brokerage; rent; fees for professional or technical services; royalty and any sum under section 28(va); income in respect of units; Payment of compensation on acquisition of certain immovable property; other sums under section 195; income in respect of units of non-residents referred to in section 196A; income from units referred to in section 196B; income from foreign currency bonds or shares of an Indian company referred to in section 196C; income of Foreign Institutional Investors from securities referred to in section 196D.

There will be justify option in MS Word, if we opt that it will auto fit the text in the layout in MS Word how to achieve in the Smartform.

Hi Naveen,

Create a smartstyle with a paragraph of Allignment Justified

provide the style name in the text element of your data and select the paragraph with justified allignment

this should solve your problem.

How r u getting the text..

r u doing a read_text or an include text?

If u r doing a read_text and getting all the text in an itab then u loop at itab and print the texts in a single text element.

Create a text element->general attributes-> start-> append directly(from the drop down menu).

When u do this, it more less works as justified text.

As such there is no option for justified text in smartform other than font alignment in smartstyles. But that doesnt work if the text is spread accross miltiple Text Elements.
