Cannot see static text in PDF preview

hi,all

We've got a strange problem: I just created a PDF form,and I found my static text field cannot show in PDF preview.

all the label is blank.

And my adobe reader is 7.0.1,which i think is normal.

my Xacf is nw07_sp03.

Can anybody tells me what's going on and how to solve this?

I'm sorry but I made a mistake.

It works fine in my local "pdf preview",but when i deploy it to the j2ee engine,some chinese words cannot display normally....

I just wonder whether it's the server's problem.(but the server's ADS has reached SP20).

So i'm confused,i have upgraded my ADOBE READER to 7.0.9,and it still doesn't work normally in my IE.

Chapter 9 tells you how to add fonts to ADS, maybe this would help you.

Yes~!!!You are right!!!This is the font's problem..I change my font and it all works.

hi,

I know what's going on.

It is caused by Unicode static text.(in my example,Chinese text.).

I create a new project.and whenever I create a static text with chinese text, the pdf preview is abnormal.

But I still don't know how to fix it.

Somebody helps me ?

I think you should upgrade your Adobe Reader. If you look at the notes at the top of the forum, one of them describes the version that should be used.

Other than that, this may help you -

Note that it's for adobe reader 8, so look for an appropriate language pack for the reader you would install.

firstly,thank you for your reply.

But I just think this is not the language pack of the adobe reader's problem,because i can open any chinese PDF using adobe reader.

And I can use pdf preview normally by stand-alone adobe designer.All the chinese static text is shown normally.

But when I use the Webdynpro-inside one,there's problem.And after I deploy the application to the portal.

The chinese static text is just gone.
