Electronic Forms in SRM-MDM 2.0

Hi all,

I read a while from this blog - that business forms will be available in this version of SRM-MDM. However, I have just attended a course on SRM-MDM 2.0 (SRM270) and asked about the availability of this function but was told that it was not available. I was however given some information about a third-party product being developed as an add-in component of SAP that will deliver this functionality - by BeNeering. But, this will come as an additional cost on top of the SRM-MDM package.

Does anyone know whether the business form functionality will be available as part of the standard SRM-MDM package from 3.0 onwards, i.e. no extra costs?

Also, not sure whether anyone has used this third-party product before? I would like to get confirmation whether we are able to link specific catalog items in a catalog to a business form and not having to create all catalog items requiring business forms in a separate catalog.

Appreciate your comments on the above.

Hi! I have got a reply from the contact person stated in this note (to somebody else, not me) stating that additional license costs have to be paid for this functionality. That was in April and I was hoping that things might have changed since then.
