Hi there,
I was wondering whether anybody knows if one can write a user defined function that can be used to populate\overwrite the user being used for propagation between sender and receiver during message mapping.
I assume that the propagation is done through Message Header parameters and therefore overwrites should be possible.
As I don't completely understand the architecture behind principal propagation the question above may not make any sense. Anyhow any feedback would be welcome.
Thanks. Dieter Bauer
Hmm, looks pretty complex but doable.
Thanks for all your inputs.
Dieter

Actually mapping occurs after Receiver, Interface Determination in Pipe Line Steps....
so it is not possible to Overwrite the Propagation in Message Headers...

The SSO ticket would be in the ticket format when in comes to XI. This should be finally a string format and is part of the message header of XI. In case u don't use BPM, this header won't be lost and then u can access it in UDF using the Dynamic Configurations. However, that would surely require considerable efforts.
An option could be sending the ticket as a part of payload from the sender application.
Have a look here
