Hi ,

As already friends are given sufficient explanation regarding the question , I am just giving you a little but on the same.

The material master is the one of the master data where all the module consultant are involved .

Specifically with respect to the SD, only we will pass the information to the MM consultant who will create the material master.

Even technical consutant are involved in this when they update the master data by using LSMW.

Remaining how to create and table are explained.

Hello,

Transaction codes for material Master

MM01 / MM02 / MM03 --> Create / Change / Display Material Master. You need to give the material type and industry sector manually.

If you want to create specific material types, you may use:

MMR1 - Create Raw Material

MMB1 - Create semi finished product

MMF1 - Create finished product

MMI1 - create operating supplies

MMH1 - create trading goods

MMU1 - create non-valuated material

MMN1 - Create Non-stock material

MMV1 - Create Packaging material

MML1- create Empties

MMS1 - Create service material

MMK1 - Create configurable material.

...etc...

MARA - Material Master: General Data

MARD - Material Master: Storage Location/Batch Segment

MAKT - Material Descriptions
