Cannot logon to new client

Dear SAP experts,

I have installed ECC SR3, and now I create new client 100 for backup, but I cannot logon to this client with the account SAP/PASS or SAP/pass. Could you please help me to solve this problem, or I have to reinstall the whole system.

Set the profile parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar to 0 ( as advised by Kevin) , restart the system and login w/ sap* and PASS ( its case sensitive )

Hi experts,

There was already the parameter login/no_automatic_login_sapstar = 0 in file DEFAULT.PFL. And there is not any user in client 100 when I search in the database. Any idea pls.

You have set that parameter in your instance profile

Check through DB back-end for user "SAP*" on client 100. If it exists, delete it.

Then, make sure in your default profile this is set:

login/no_automatic_user_sapstar = 0

Then try to log in. User is "SAP*", and lower cased "pass"
