in sd order, partially delivered item with coverage, reason for reject ....

Hi,

We are using NF module and SAP version is 4.6C.

We have a problem with Coverage in SD order.

For example ;

-There is a coverage with quantity 50.000 KG,

-When i create an item with amount 50.000 KG using this coverage, Coverage amout is decreased to 0 KG.

-When i enter a reason for reject for this item, Coverage amount is increased to 50.000 KG.

There are no problem yet.

The problem is, if the item delivered partially with 10.000 KG. when i enter a reason for reject, coverage amount increased to 50.000 KG again. but it must be 40.000 KG because 10.000 KG is delivered.

i tried to find in Notes, and google, but i couldnt find anything.

is there a solution that you experienced ?

SAP Consultant told me that,

Functionality of Coverage works properly as per design. System is not

designed to take care of Follow on documents in case of Coverage.

When you give the reason for rejectionm and save the order, the balance quantity only will be rejected i.e.40 kg.
