Missing Installation Point "Content Server" in standalone Engines

Hi *,

i have already installed a IDES ECC6.0 and try to add an Content Server to that system.

I used the same installation Master-DVD but when it comes to the point where I have to click on the Content-server there no one.

Thats the DVD i copied and used (SR2 IDES Install. Master Windows Server on x64 64bit).

The other options are there: "Gateway" "liveCache" "TREX" "WebDispatcher".

Is there already an ContentServer installed ? If so how can I check ? Do I need the newest release because of the 64bit OS ?

SAP Content Server 6.40 is supported on Windows but only on "WINDOWS SERVER 2003/IA32 32BIT" version previously.The support has been added as of 08.04.2008 for 64 bit platform of Windows.So Probably you can user SR3 Media or You can use 32-bit version of SR2 Media.

Download Content Server separately from SAP Marketplace.

I think your installtion master CD dump got corrupted please dowload agin contant server option should be availble in SAP NetWeaver 2004s Support Release 2->Standalone Engines->Content Server
