XI to BAPI - Configuration required

Hi,

I am in the process of identifying the configuration to be done in SAP XI and SAP R/3 system for the XI to R/3 flow.

The flow is synchronous and it is a BAPI on the SAP R/3 side.

Please let me know the configuration s to be done in XI and R/3 side for the same.

Hi,

1) configuration in XI

- download BAPI metadata the same as download of

- configure synchronous scenario

-if it's update in the BAPI remember about explicit commit work in the RFC communication channel

Please look for synchronous RFC scenarios on SDN.

YOu have to configure a receiver RFC adapter in your XI Intergration Directory:

Read the receiver RFC adapter section in the following link:

http://www.riyaz.net/blog/index.php/2008/02/06/understanding-the-rfc-adapter/

NO additional config steps are required in the backend.
