Hi ,

In SAP we have system landscape:

Pls gothrough this link.

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/6c/a74a3735a37273e10000009b38f839/frameset.htm

Usually recommendaded is 3 system landscape:

DEV-QAS-PRD.

These are the different servers (boxes)

Again in these likle for example: DEV----We can have like:

100 -

Custmizing client

300-----Test

400-Sandbox.

We can even have single system for all the three (DEV-QAS-PRD) however not recommended.

So in your landscape if you are loging into three different hosts then they are servers.

In one system we can have mutiple clients for different kinds of works.

Thanks.

Please use a speaking topic - not just "client".

Why do you want to?

Conceptually an ABAP development "client" does not exist. ABAP is cross-client.
