Excel Upload, langauge issue....

Hello Friends,

When have an excel upload from a table, working fine, now problem is, if in table comes some russian letters, then while excel upload they are nto properly readable, ?? any idea what is the case ? some encoding issue ? one can solve this programigly ???

replacing [escape characters in XML|http://hdf.ncsa.uiuc.edu/HDF5/XML/xml_escape_chars.htm] will solve the problem.

Actually the previous programmer used the POI stuff....apache project... so I need to do the stuff in POI with min efforts.... any suggestion ?

Secondly, could we be able to do something in excel file, ? some plugin, or encoding in excel ??
