Dear Venkat,

Find below answer,

1.Plz tell me where can we find CIN icon in customer master data(XDO1)?

In XD01/02/03 you can found "Additional Data" Push button which is similar like Sales Data to enter all CIN related information.(You can do similar activity in J1ID transaction also)

To perform above settings you should configure Tax Customer Taxes in SPRO>S&D>BF>Taxes>Define Tax Relevancy of Master Records>Customer Master..

3.wht r the exact condition types for basic excise duty, special excise duty, additional excise duty , cess , LST and for CST?

which we r using in pricing procedure

Difference between TAXINJ and TAXINN

TAXINJ:

1. It is Formula Based Tax procedure.

2. It was most commonly used upto intial phase of R/3 4.7, but the latter implementations were with TAXINN.

3. Tax Code plays a vital role, as the Tax Rate are maintained in Tax Code.

4. It is complex compared to TAXINN

TAXINN:

1. It is Condition Based Tax procedure.

2. Tax Code is required to be maintained in Condition Record, & if Tax Code is not found in Condition Record, Sales Cycle will go upto billing, but not release to accounting. Hence even a single Tax code may suffice trhe requirement for different Tax rate.

would you please tell me whether TAXINN can be applied to SAP release 4.6C.As I understand that the TAXINJ is formula based taxprocedure and was most commonly used till version 4.7 what was the reason not to use TAXINN before that ?

Would you please explain is detail .

Thanks in advance.

Dear Venkata Ramana

1) Once you give the sale area and execute, system will go to main screen of General Data. Next to this General Data, you can see Sales Area Data and next to this, CIN tab will be there

2) As you would be aware TAXINJ is formula based and TAXINN is condition based. For TAXINJ, you need to maintain tax codes in FTXP and assign the same in VK11 / UTXJ, whereas, for TAXINN, you need to maintain condition types for each and every requirement in VK19

3) Below are the condition types

TAXINN Excise Condition types

BED: JEXP/JEXQ

SED: JESP/JESQ

AED: JEAP/JEAQ

CESS: JEXC

TAXINJ Excise Condition types

BED : JMOD / JEX2

ECess : JECS / JECX

SECess: JA1X / JA1Y

thanks
