Hi all,
We are in process building a DRC (Disaster Recovery Center ) at our site office. The new machine at DRC will act as a standby server.
To implement that plan we plan to do system copy from active production server (in head office) to standby server (site office), using copy volume group method to make sure the standby server will have the same environment with active production server.
My question is do we need another installation number/license to instal and run SAP application at the DRC site ? .. Please advice
Thanks all
Rgds,
Della
Hi,
You required a new license for your new system as hardware key will be different.Try to get one sap and install it.

Hello Rosa,
in the installation guides there is a description how to obtain additional licenses for high availability systems. As disaster recovery is part of high availability, this should be your solution.
