Hi gurus,
+Case 1+
I am having a header condition type ( for surcharge) and if i maintain this header condition type as a group condition it is proportionately allotting this surcharge to the line items based on the values of the line items.
example:-
My header condition value is 100 Dollars
IF My first item value is 400 and second item is 600 and the system is allotting 40 dollars to first item and 60 dollars to second line item.
case 2
If i maintain the same condition type as only header condition it is duplicating the value to all the items conditions.
it is duplicating 100 dollars for first item and 100 dollars to second item.
My requirement is first item should be 400 and second item should be 600 and total surcharge for the whole document should be 100.
is should be like item 1 400 Dollars
item 2 600 Dollars
surcharge 100 Dollars
Total 1100 Dollars
please help me and it is urgent
thanks and regards,

Hi Ravikiran,
Please refer to note 876617:
*************************************************************************
3. How is an 'actual' header condition distributed to the pricing
result of the individual document items?
This depends on further Customizing settings of the condition type,
in particular on the calculation type (field KRECH) and on whether
the group condition (field KGRPE) is set or not.
Example:
For a header condition with calculation type 'Fixed Amount', the
amount entered on the header condition screen is duplicated in each
item if the condition is not set as a group condition.
However, if the condition is set as a group condition, the amount
entered on the header is distributed proportionally (that is, in the
relationship of the relevant condition bases at item level) and a
rounding difference adjustment may be carried out (compare section
7).
***************************************************************************
If you want total surcharge for the whole document to be 100, please set this condition
as a group condition. Since the pricing is carried out on item level, system will distribute
this value into items, this is the correct system behavior.
Please also check note 876617 for detailed information.

Alex

Hi Ravikiran,
Do you mean that you want to enter a header condition for surcharge 100 dollars and it is not distributed into items? I am afraid it is not possible.
As I have explained in my last reply, the pricing calculation is only carried out at item level. Also in R/3 standard pricing, conditions are copied only at item level. What's more,
when you release billing to accounting, conditions are transfered at item level too.
So if the system doesn't distribute header condition for surcharge 100 dollars into items, this condition will not be copied into subsequent documents and it could not be transfered to FI side either.
I hope this is helpful.

Alex
Dear Alex,
I am entering this header condition in the billing document only.If i enter this as a header condition i have no issues if it proportionately assign it to the line items based on its value.
But my concern is that in the output of this billing document it should come as a surcharge for the whole document. Is there any way out to do that.
Please guide me.
thanks and regards,
ravikiran
