Hi,
We are using two XI servers in the landscape. We are using XI Adapter communication in between of two XI servers. In this case how to monitor the XI adapter.
Already I monitored the communication channel monitoring in component monitoring. But, it shows zero messages. Please provide the navigation to monitor the XI Adapter.
Thanks.
Hi Varma,
Check the status of the XI adapter in component monitoring (if its with error).
You can also check the audit log of the message. The audit log will give the log of the message created by adapter engine.
Find the navigation below-->
RWB> Component montitoring> adapter engine> communication channel monitoring> click on use filter---> click on the message id
This will give the complete log of the message. if the message has failed anywhere, you can get the status there.
Thanks & Regards,
Bharath.

Hi,
1 ) Runtime Workbench
The Runtime Workbench has the following new functions:
a) Component monitoring: Communication channel monitor
In component monitoring, you can use the new communication channel monitor to call information about the status of your communication channels and the corresponding adapters. You can also administrate your communication channels.Unlike the adapter monitor, the communication channel monitor also provides current runtime information about the communication channels of individual adapters, as long as they are registered for communication channel monitoring.
To monitor adapters that do not provide runtime information to communication channel monitoring, continue to use the adapter monitor.
b) Message monitoring
Bulk messages are now displayed in the message list for Integration Engines. The corresponding individual messages are displayed in the message list for Adapter Engines
c) Performance monitoring
The advanced search now includes the sender/receiver criteria Agency and Scheme. However, you can still use the selection filters that you have created and saved, since the two new criteria are handled as not specified when such filters are loaded.
The input help for all available sender/receiver criteria now has an additional entry <empty>. This allows you to specify attributes explicitly as "empty".

Surya

Hi Vs,
if u want monitor the adapters u need to go RWB-Adapter Engine-Adapter monitoring-in XI 3.0
In PI 7.0 u need to go RWB-Adatper Enginge-Communication Channel Monitoring.
Communication Channel Monitoring shows the all the adapter which is error and which is successful.
in case of its not shown, there is some configuration missing in basis side.. Pls approach to proper team.

Kumar

The only proper monitoring of XI adapter could be done using the RWB. U can try using the Message Monitoring and select the adapter type as XI adapter.
Once the message is generated and passed through adaoter engine, only then it would be visible in sxmb_moni transaction.
