Stock posting from inspection to unrestricted

hi ,

we carried out inspection type 01 for incoming material. my problem is , i want to post the stock from inspection to unrestricted where as inspection lot has been canceled .

I cannot do the result recording and UD for inspection lot.

Pls revert me urgent.

Hi ,

The lot is canceled means some one has canceled the GR material document.

But above all you can't do RR for the canceled lots. And you can cancel the cancellation document (in this kind of case particularly, the system will through an error message no. QA495 - Change the inspection stock of material 100000001 in QM only, hence the stock was posted in the QI already)

So as solution post new GR and have new lot, process the lot and do UD and stock posting as you required.

As you had cancled the Insp lot you can not do any processing for this lot. You need to now create new Insp lot. Cancel the existing GRN & again do it. new Insp lot will be create. Do posting against this new lot

Hi,

Cancel the (incoming)GR. Again do goods receipt. Now system will create Inspection lot. Now you can able to do result recording & UD. Stock will move from quality to Unrestricted stock.
