Floder is used to print the continuous text without any page break. This functionality is similar as protect & end protect control command in SAP-SCRIPT

Hi Charan,

Folders are used to get the functionality of the protect -- endprotect in scripts.

First you create a folder in main window and place the loop node etc (your data display ) under this folder.

In Smart Forms a folder is generally used to group different text elements into one. With this we can achieve page protection.

Hi..

Generally the folder is used for Tables in Smartform. Normally on a table u right click, then create folder.

In side that folder u can put textelements, and those can be used to print data in the table..

Basicall u use a folder to keep logically similar elements of a form (like table nodes, templates.TE..etc)

togethr..just like u use a folder in ur pc. But this has an added advantage is that u can put conditions on the folder and thus put a condition on each of the elements present inside the folder.
