difference between costing and expenses

what is the difference between 'Costing' and 'Expense' in terms of Sales Order and Customer Project ?

Hi Le,

Costing is genaral terma which is used for exact price of material ...and another charges over that comes in expanses...like Cost of Tansformer is 5000..and Freight charges on that is Rs. 200..here cost of transfer is 5000 and expense is 200 and overall price of transformer is 5200.........
