Alert cannot be sent- Unable to create RFC Destination

Hi All,

we are Using Runtime work bench alerts for Interface monitoring purpose. Alerts are gettting generated for Adapter engine errrors but not getting generated for Integration Engine Errors like mapping Failure etc.

When i executed Report SXMSALERT_LOGREADER, in the log i can see Error :"Creation of RFC destination Failed, Alert cannot be sent."

But i am not getting About which RFC destination it is talking about.

Please can anyone help me in solving this problem.

found SAP note for this problem and its solved now....

CentralMonitoringServer-XIAlerts this is the name of the RFC destination that you should see in SM59 in XI,

It should be a type 3 connection and use the XIRWBUSER.

Also, make sure that in ALRTCATDEF the RFC destination for the alerts has been set to None.
