While creating delivery, picking quantity is not automatically picking.

How to do this.

go to transaction code OVLP

Make Item Category Relevant for Picking.

for automatic picking to my understanding you need a warehouse TO. We config the auto pick for the movemnet type in MM.

if u want to create picking automatically you need to configure lean werehouse management.

then u have to do transfer order t-codeLT03

Only by creating the Delivery document, picking quantity will not take automatically, Initial picking quantity will be zero as picking status is "net yet picked".

For, picking you need to create a Transfer order.

After creating the delivery doc, either you go for subsequent function > create transfer order or use T.code LT03 , put your Warehouse no, delivery no,plant,make it background job.

Now, in the delivery document, ifyou will go to the picking tab ,you will find the delivery quantity & picking quantity are same.

At the same time the overall picking status has changed to "c"i.e. fully picked.

Go to T.code OVLP and select the relevant delivery and tick relevant for picking. Then automatically the picking quantity will come in delivery.

If you have warehouse concept, picking quantity will come automatically as otherwise, you have enter manually the required quantity which should be equal to Delivery quantity.

In VL02N transaction, Picking Qty will come automatically if you created/confirmed Transfer Order using LT03 transaction(If you have warehouse) for delivery document..

Other you have to enter Picking Quantity manually..
