RDDIMPDP cant be trigered

Dear All,

RDDIMPDP job is not running in prduction server .As i scheduled

2.i scheduled from Tc sm37 RDDNEWPP job foreground in all client in production server.BUT i hav'nt scheduled in development server coz its already running RDDIMPDP there.

Is there is need to run development server also???

i checked the slog :-

plz suggest me hoe to start the rddimpdp job again.

But it still not able to run the RDDIMPDP job.

RDDIMPDP is unable to start.i tried so many time i patsed the log also.jst suggest me :-

i pasted the log..

1.i have only schduled in my production server.Its there is need to schedule in dev also coz in my dev RDDIMPDP is already running fine.

plz suggest me what is prob..

HI,

no need to schedule the RDDIMPDP in DEV server while it's running fine there.

in production server

first delete the schedule and released job from SM37 for RDDNEWPP

also manually terminate all running job of RDDNEWPP using cancel job in SM37

schedule the event-controlled background job RDDIMPDP, log on to the SAP system as user DDIC in client 000 and execute report RDDNEWPP (using Transaction SE38)

I tried thrice time to schedule job RDDIMPDP by event-controlled background job RDDIMPDP.but it unable to triggered RDDIMPDP job.

when i check in SM37 i didnt find any job scheduled there also.

plz suggest me how to rectify this problem.

Hi,

1) RDD job has to be scheduled in all the clients and in all systems .

We use transports so we need these jobs .even for support packs etc we need these jobs to be running.

2) Check your profile directory ...as it is showing some error with sappro this is sapmnt/SID/profile directory.

3) do you have background WP available we need 2 for this.check this in SM50

4) And also this has to be event dependent job.(SAP_TRIGGER_RDDIMPDP_CLIENT)

Event SAP_TRIGGER_RDDIMPDP in the 000 client and periodic job one RDD job will run.

These all will come once you run the RDDNEWPP.

SAP recommends that the job be scheduled event-driven and periodically. If the job is not running, then start the program RDDNEWPP once in every R/3 System. Do this as user DDIC in client 000 and in all clients that are used as the source or target for a transport.

RDDNEWPP has to be run in SE38 not in SM37.
