Hi,

the quickest way to do is to start transaction SXMB_IFR from the SAP GUI.

This will launch the start screen in the browser (http://host:port/rep/start/index.jsp)

Peter

hi,

you do most work with the use of :

3. Or http://<server>:<port>/rep in browser

in integration direcotry or repository

(here you build your XI objects: BPMs, data types etc)

but you can also do some confi in SAP gui

(for the integration server mostly)

Hi,

have you carried out all post installation steps carefully as listed in the installation and in the configuration guide? The error pretty much looks like the Exchange Profile does not contain any properties and hence the according step "Importing SAP Exchange Profile" has not been executed. This step is listed in installation guide (https://websmp203.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/011000358700001677582004E/XI30_Inst_final_new.pdf) on page 33.

<i>Importing the SAP Exchange Profile

You must import the SAP Exchange Profile manually.

1. On your SAP Integration server host, open the following URL:

http:// <J2EE_host>:<J2EE_Port>/exchangeProfile

The following naming convention applies for <J2EE_Port>:

5<J2EE_instance_number>00. 50000, for example, if your J2EE instance is 00

2. Enter the log on information:

User Name: XISUPER

Password: <xisuper_password>

The Exchange Profile page appears.

3. Choose Connection

The Server Settings page appears

4. Enter the required information for the SAP Exchange Infrastructure host.

Use the logon information of user XILDUSER

5. Choose Set.

The Exchange Profile page appears.

6. Choose Import.

The Import Profile page appears.

7. Choose Browse and select the following file:

/usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/global/exchange_profile.xml

8. Choose Import Data.

The profile will be imported.</i>

Best regards

Christine

Hi Michal,

After importing the profile, my profile is no displayed and it shows a blank screen. I zipped the exchange_profile.xml and then tried to import it but still no success. Due to this my integration builder is not starting up and im stuck.

Is there a way to manually insert the profile parameters in the database.

I meet with the same and I solved it.

Please go into http://localhost:50000/exchangeProfile/connection.jsp, then enter correct user name and password, please remember you don't need use the recommended user name. For me I use my account 'bruce' or 'XISUPER'.

After enter your data, click set button go to http://localhost:50000/exchangeProfile, you shouldn't get any error.

Then you can start your XI by http://localhost:50000/rep.

Hope it helps. Any related issue you can reach me by hu.bruce@inventec.com.cn

Hi Bruce,

I too get the same error on as mentioned above. I followed your steps of going to http://localhost:50000/exchangeProfile/connection.jsp and entered the all the details. On clicking the Set button, I get the error message as follows ::

Hi,

Here XIDIRUSER was the default userid for which I entered the password and got the error.

So, I changed the Userd id to XISUPER, in this case I didn't get any error, I could open the Integration Repository also but on trying to import the Software Component, I get an error saying "Unable to read software component from System Landscape Directory"

Could you let me know if I need to do any other configurations and also can you please let me know if I need to log in using XIDIRUSER itself in the first step. if so, what should be the authorizations for this user for the error mentioned above to not come at all and then also to over the problem of importing of Software component in IR .
