I am trying to set up CCMS as per How to Monitor XI 3.0.

I am trying to register the CMSCONF file in the Admin Console, but am getting the following error:

hi,

try to write the RFC User in the communication channel in UPPERCASE. We had the same issue, and it was because in the client system the user is transferred by ABAP to UPPERCASE, but in the XI directory (which is Java) we put the xiuser lowercase. Since we changed it to UPPERCASE everything works fine.

Thank you for your prompt response, Matthias.

Both the Local Admin User and Local CSMREG User are already set as capitals in the Java Admin Console - as it's read directly from the ABAP stack.

This is the error:

ERROR: can't register at XIP. RfcRc = 3, SYSTEM_FAILURE   RFC Error Info for SALF_CSM_AGENT_REGISTER

But I don't understand it....

I have found three notes on OSS.860676, 509557 & 517353.

Any one of can help me with the problem I am having. In RZ21 when I try to do Configure Central System -> Create Start CSMCONF for Agents I get the File Sale Screen but later I get an error saying "Error in calling Data Provider". Is it something to do with Security. Let me know if you have any ideas.

Dear ,

For Error " LOCATION SAP-Gateway on host sapxi.fqdn / sapgw00 "

Login into Visual Admin and go Service - JCO connection ..

Check the user name and password..

If you has changed the password in ABAP then also requred to change the password in JCO connection setting.

After use SET button to set the password.

Hope it will work.

Ravindra Ghangurde.
