Shadow system Shutdown

Dear All,

We are upgrading our development server,in the phase shadow_import_inc our shadow system not started.

When we check the system the ora 942 error message comes.

How to start the shadow system.

Hello. Can you say your OS DB version ,SAP level, PL , and over ??

May be is R3trans error , like in note Note 970967 - Termination in the SHADOW_IMPORT_INC phase with rc=12 ? More information ...

Open

sql plus " / as sysdba "

select username from dba_users;

check the shadow instance and ops $.If it is not there pls create ..

Create the SAPUSER table as <sid>adm using the following command:

CREATE TABLE "OPS$<sid>ADM".SAPUSER

(USERID VARCHAR2(256), PASSWD VARCHAR2(256));

INSERT INTO "OPS$<sid>ADM".SAPUSER VALUES ('<sapowner>', '<password>');

Dear Guna,

Regarding the error ORA-00942, please check very detailed all steps in the note 662644 (Composite SAP Note: ORA-00942).

It could be that an authorization problem is the cause of this behaviour entering the commands in SQLPLUS.

This note is very helpful to sort out the error.

Please let me know, I will try to give another solution if still error persists.
