Hi All,
We are facing one problem that printing speed of SAP generated report in our dot matrix printers is very very slow. For example the total printing time of deduction checklist for workers in the legacy system is 10 minutes where as the printing time of same report in SAP is about 7 hours. We cannot afford so much time in one report.
Plesae provide solution for making the printing fast.
Thanks and regards,

Hi Kaushal Malavia,
Thanks for your key points.
After implementing the same as mentioned in the note still print is comming very slow.
Is this because of any printer settings at os level or more data for printing at the same time?
So i need your further suggestions and help in this regard.

Dear Dhananjay,
I dont have much knowlege on printing side, but i have got some information . Unfortunately in this case, the speedy of the printing is not defined by the SAP System, but by the printer itself. I hope we can make it faster for changing font Courier on size 8
In case you decide to change the font to a more simple one, please follow the procedures from SAP Note 12462.
On the SAP Library (http://help.sap.com), under path: 'BC - SAP Printing Guide'> 'Output Devices in the SAP Spool System' > 'Connecting Output Devices to a Windows system' > 'Which Device Type: SWIN' > 'SAPLPD Options.
you will find some options to optimize the speed .
I think it will be more useful to optimize the speed.
Thanks
kishore
