Hi,
I wanted to know the process of giving access writes ( R,W,delete) on a WD application.
For e.g , i have an item master screen , i want to give read, write and delete access depending upon the role how do i manage it ?
I have read help documents on help.sap.com , was wondering what is the best practice
1) whether to make 3 different screens or
2) have a single application created based on UME permissions as given in the help.spa.com website.
Which option wud be easier for coding and which one would be the right way to about it ?
Appreciate yoru help

Hi,
Its always better to create one screen, and provide the permissions based on role or user-group is better.
lets suppose if you want to hide the "Edit" button, you can invisible based on Role or some condition.
use the guidence of "Protecting access for Webdynpro using UME Permissions"

Thanks for the reply,
With refernce to the same, i have a question .
How does one decide on different DC's. Is it that seperate functionalities, one puts in seperate DC's and every thing in one SC ?
ESS - One SC
and Leave request, Working time etc are all DC's within that ESS SC ? is that so ?
Appreciate your help
