CAD-Interface (Cideon)

Dear all

We are using Cideon 4.0 for autocad interface with sap. I have completed required config in cdesk_cus. After save system takes me to DIR screen and able to save the DIR. When I am going to cad-view and check-in the original, it is not happening some error is coming. Can someone guide me why I am not able to check-in the original thru interface.

The same file I am able to check when I am using CV01N and it is working well.

I think it is related to data carrier- is their any special configuration for cideon.

Hi Sandeep,

The same error i have resolved by the host entry.

U can able to check in File from Standard DMS screen but not from CAD Desktop screen.

Add the entry in your hosts file.

you can find the hosts file in the below mentioned path

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

101.21.32.192 <CONTENT SEVER NAME>

Hi,

Have you done config for DC20

you need to have an entry

Default

Check the process by logging in as Administrator

Check following authorizations.

Make sure you have following authorizations

Tcode: CV01N, CDESK

What are the system details

like OS, Cideon version 4 Service pack and AutoCAD version?

What error is it giving?

All config is done by me...

the error message is Error while checking in & storing c:\SapWorkDir\Acad\PMP2.dwg

Can you tell me what config you have done for DC20, DC30

One more thing,

Try to add parameter CDESK_DRAWING_CHECKIN to YES (X) in Tcode: CDESK_CUS
