Go to tcode: sxmb_moni_bpe --> continue process following error --> specify date range --> execute ( F8 ) --> failed BPM will be displayed with the status as error --> choose that and click on restart workflow.
PE will get restarted.

First Tell me about the error you get into the BPM.
For that you have to Run the tranction given by Parvathy.
othere wise Go to the message reated with in SXMB_MONI
There in PE Tab just click that will navigate you to the message related with PE.
Analyze the error and sort that out.
After that Restart the BPM.

use Tx- SXWF_XISWI2_DIAG and highlight your workflow and select 'restart workflow'

you can restart your BPM from SWWL transaction or you can restart your BPM from MONI but for this your BPM should be in wait stage .
But if in the message has been reached to BPM then its get failed then you can't restart your BPM i.e. it is showing red falg in MONI .
