How to make Sales Document "Additional Data B" view as the initial screen

Hi,

The requirement is to add one customized field to sales document ( contract -VA41) and it needs to be validated prior to creating the contract.

My idea is to create one Zfield in "Additional Data B" and let the "Additional Data B" become the first screen while creating the contract, so the Zfield will be filled and validated first.

Could some one tell me know how to make the "Additional Data B" the first screen in contract ?

Or is there any screen exit I can use to create a subscreen while creating the contract ?

Eric,

Depending on the data that needs to be validated, you can try to use any of the standard SAP fields in VA41. There might be some fields that are not used by business.

Once you identified a field, then put the field in incompletion procedure, so that without any value subsequent documents cant be processed.

Hi,

the 'Additional Data B' field is in sales order- item level VBAP table.

if you want it to reflect in intial screnn i think with the abaper u can include this tab in sales order - header dat table VBAK.

please check it with your Abaper.
