PDK Local and remote debugging

HI Experts,

I installed PDK ver 2.0 on my development server and also on Portal server. It works fine only I cannot debug ...

I Get Error message: Portal service is not configured for development. set the Production Mode property of iViewProcessorService in the portal to false.

According to all articles, after installation the

.NET Runtime Service Configuration editor is supposed to be displayed in the portal support Desk - and from there you should configure settings for debugger. Only It is not found there.

Can anyone Help ???

Hi,

The portal support Desk for the PDK.NET is only supported from SP15.

You need to change the iViewprocessorService properties accordingly.

Take a look at the Supporting guide of version 1.3 in order to change the service property, (in the .NET Interoperability section, click on the ".NET Development Center" link in the quick links section on the right).

Hi Yael,

In case you are using SP15...

Have you recently upgraded the portal to SP15 from a previous version?

In this case, please remove the two PDK SDA's and re-install those that came with the installation (see the PDK note for more details)

Does verssion 2.0 has to run with SP15 ?

What portal version are you using?

Version 2.0 should be ran on SP15.
