not able to upload excel file having extension.XLSX

Hi all,

I want to upload a fiel of new version of ms excel .Older versions were used to have xls as their extensions.But now newer versions are having .xlsx.In my application i am able to upload xls files but not xlsx.

What i need to change???

either browser settings??? or something else...

Please guide.........

Can you give a little bit more information? You are trying to upload to...? (R/3? Portal? Something else?)

Have you seen SAP Note [1062725|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1062725]?

Actually what exactly i want is to upload all excel files from my local database of our firm.

Problem i am encountering is :

I am able to upload the xls files but not .xlsx files..

Its urgent pls help

No Sasi,i didnt get any f the siolution for it..We are simply saving it with xls extension and uploading it to the database.
