SAP GUI cannot start browser (Unable to start HTML browser) ?

Hi,

Please advise me what i need to do, because suddenly i can't call the browser from SAP GUI,

like transaction SXMB_IFR, CHECKSLD etc.

There are some problem with default browser. after changing the default browser to other browser for exmple Firefox. then the functionality back to normal

check if host file entry has been maintained

An entry into the host file is needed specifying the server details.

The host file is usually found under the path C:WINNTsystem32driversetc or C:WINDOWSsystem32driversetc. This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names

Hi Fernard,

do chk that java services are working properly i think some of the Java files are misssing that helps in running SXMB_IFR

check Server Availability by manually typing URL in Browser..

Check LAN Setting in Tools Menu of browser
