par upload error from NWDS

Hi everybody,

I've got a problem with uploading my par-files from the NWDS to the WAS. Every time I try it I get the following error:

PAR upload failed: < PATH TO PAR FILE > No detail have been provided.

I've read already different posts in this forum, so I think my NWDS configuration is correct:

Host: <servername>

Port: 50000

Login: <SAP username>

J2EE Engine

Host: <same servername as above>

Port: 3901

Java Development Infrastructure

URL: http://<same servername as above>:50000

The proxy server is also correct.

And I have administration rights on the WAS.

Does anybody have an idea what else could be wrong?

Hi,

unfortunately this didn't help.

I can upload my project manually to the portal. The Quick Upload from the NWDS isn't working.

Did you modified the logon stack (e.g. Kerberos SSO)? The PAR upload from NWDS only works with "user/password" authentication enabled on SAP Web AS...

Hi Alexander,

possibly you need to add the filename (not just the directory name), f.e.

< PATH TO PAR FILE >/<filename>.PAR

Pls check on operating system level if the file can be copied across

fs, etc.

Is the PAR file on a network share ?
