Questions on Bid Invitation

Hi All

1. Is it possible to change vendors price in Bid Comparsion screen after bid submited by Vendor. or is it possble to chage price after accepting bid by Purchaser.

2. We created Bid Invitation to 3 vendors, after getting response from these 3 vendors we decided to send same invitation to other 4 venodor and 1 vendor out if this 3 vendors. is it possible

--> yes - sent the bid back to the supplier to get the price adjusted

or is it possble to chage price after accepting bid by Purchaser.

--> no

--> yes, with SRM 5.0 where you can create a follow on bid invitation where you can select different suppliers

Hi Ravi,

1. Its possible to change the price and resubmit the bid by bidders until bid submission end date. After fuinal acceptance of the Bid, purchaser cannot change the bid price.

2. This scenario is possible.
