Transfer GL data from FI-CA to FI-GL

Hi!

We have SAP ISU and SAP R3 in two different servers so we need to transfer some GL data from FI-CA to FI-GL using idoc FIDCCP01 or FIDCCP02.

Does anybody know the steps to configure the idoc? Do we have to do some abap programming to fill the structures?

Thanks!

Cristian

From my understanding, no abap programming is required unless you have made custom changes on idoc.

You have to perform ALE set up in sending side for ISU and receiving side for R/3.

The IDOC Basic Type FIDCCP02 will be used for GL document.

steps:

1. define logical system

2. assign client to logical system

3. configure distribution model

4. define RFC destination

5. define port

6. define partner profile

7. maintain cross system company code and business areas

Hope it gives up some hints
