HTTP OSS connection with ERP development server gives error

Hello all,

We have opened an OSS HTTP connection to our ERP development server but while SAP is trying to connect,it gives the following error:

SAP Web Proxy: destination server not reachable

ERROR: torsbid01: route permission denied (194.117.106.129 to torsr3d02.cpr.ca, 8000)

Can it be that the port on SD0 is not open.

Hi,

no if it were not open you should a message like "Connection refused".

If you have a direct connection you can check if the port is open using telnet.

Goto the source machine and type:

telnet destinationhost/or IP port

e.g.

telnet torsr3d02 8000

Do you have any other entries in the same router that are working???

Hi,

looks like you are trying to establish a connection from 194.117.106.129 to torsr3d02 on port 8000 via SAP Router on torsbid01 and this connection is not allowed. So add an entry in your routtab on torsbid01 to allow this connection.

Should look something like this:

P * torsr3d02 8000

or

P 194.117.106.129 torsr3d02 8000

Note that if you have a single router the Service (Port) may not be replaced by a Wildcard (*) so the following will not work if you only have one router or if you use it on your last router if you have more than one (see help.sap.com)

P * torsr3d02 *
