IDOC XI - Scenario

Hi

Please find our requirement below.

SAP ECC ---> SAP XI 7.0 ---> Third party application.

In the above landscape we have our configurations, connections intact and everything is working fine.

When we create a material/vendor etc, in ECC automatically an IDOC should get created there and this should get transferred to XI and then update in third party applications database.

I have already configured IR and IB with central SLD in XI and RFC connections, logical systems, Port definitions etc...but IDOC is not getting created automatically when a material is created and saved.

Please let me know what are the steps I need to follow for this automatic IDOC creation and transfer it to XI and process it there?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hi,

you need to activate change pointes in R3 system for matmas messages

and schedule report RBDMIDOC which will generate IDOCs from those change pointes

this is the only way to send them "automatically" in standard
