Change the Transportation zone - No jurisdiction code could be determined*

Dear All,

when trying to change the Transportation zone for the customer of Brazil ,

Error message comes as : No jurisdiction code could be determined

Message no. TAX_TXJCD101

Even you change a single character in the address any where e.g. Name, City, Postal code- The same message comes.

Please advice

u need to define the TAX Jurisidiction code for the customer in the region.This is defined in SAP check in SPRO.

Thanks for ur reply.

But the tax jurisdiction code has not been maintained like at all.

Can u tell for Brazil is there any special or this can be the effect of any BADI? - just a clue.

Hi,

Normally Tax jurisdiction code determined based on country & city not from name & postal codes.

Plz maintain proper city & country which are already defined in SAP system.
