can not able to connect to solman sld

hi

Here i created technical systems at SOLMAN SLD. now i m accessing those systems frm my dev portal

i configured nwdi at my dev portal.

now i opend my nwds n navigated to Windows->Preferences ->Java Development Infrastructure-> Development Configuration Pool.

there i hav given my solman sld address and wen i ping i m getting below error

ping failed

IO error: Software caused connection abort: recv failed

my solman server is up. what sohlud i do?

kindly guide me to resolve this issue

I hope you should give portal url over there.

In what form did you enter the SLD address? It should be http://<hostname>:<port>; without the /sld addition.

What happens if you include the SLD server and IP at your host file in your PC? Persists the problem?

You probably need to configure a proxy.
