R3 IDOC error notification using SAP XI

Hi Team,

We are planning to send IDOC error notification through SAP XI.

Problem:

If Idoc fails in SAP R/3 system then it should trigger to SAP XI then send email notification. In short automatic error notification if Idoc fails in SAP R/3 using XI.

Will you please tell if this is possible in SAP XI? How can we implement this?

hi raju,

In BPM , after the send step you have to insert a control step with following details:

Action - Throw Alert

Alert Category - The one you created

Alert Message - The title of the message ( static as per your requirement )
