ABAP wp process not seen in Consul Root.

Hi gurus,

I have a system ECC6 running on windows 2003, oracle 10.2 database.

I installed ECC5 on the same system. TST is the SID for ECC5.

ECC6 is working fine but ECC5 giving problem - as it was starting successfully but the in the consul root Showwing only Instance TST, Database & Process List only &

could not show the menu

Current Status

syslog

ABAP wp Table

ICM

Also I checked the dirctory D:\usr\sap\TST\DVEBMGS05\exe

It was Empty

Hi

directory D:\usr\sap\TST\DVEBMGS05\exe is empty because you do not have Distributed Installation ( for more information see SAP installation guide ).

For your problem try to re-register instance in MMC .

Tell me the result.

How could i reregister the Instance in MMC as I have two Instance in MMC - One is working Fine

if exe folder is emty you cant regester another system

are you sure ECC5 sucessfully installed?

check if sap service are present in service.msc

sapserviceTST should be there if you have installed ECC5 sucessfully

Hi,

Yes ECC5 is installed successfully working ok, exe folder is not empty in SYS folder it was empty in DVEBMGS05 FOLDER b'coz it's not a distrubuted system.

Also tell me is there any another way to get

Hi ,

yes , as I tell you in my first post the directory is empty and this is not a problem, it is correct.

open mmc , in the menu file >add remove snap-in->SAP SYSTEM add.

Firts delete registration then re-register.

Let me know...

Hi,

No chenge, I cheked it Remove & add Sapsystem in consul root. Same display seen.
