Delivery Picking & Confirmation

Dear All,

Please help me in solving this issue.

We create a sales order, suppose for 8 Qty, which is confirmed in sales order thru availibility check.

We create delivery w.r.t sales order. In delivery we have two columns 'Deliv Qty' & 'Picked Qty'.

If partial qty is found we enter partial qty in picked column (eg 5)

Now if we try to do PGI, system wont allow since same has to be entered in 'Deliv Qty' column also.

How can this be prevented that PGI can be done without entering the partial qty in 'Deliv Qty' column

Please Help.. Any other additional suggestion also welcomed.

Dear Dhananjay,

As per the standard functionality system will react like that only.

Based standard business process SAP made like that.

I think is not adavaisable to change that(i.e delivery Qty and Picking Qty shoul be same).

Hi Dhanajay

PGI is done for the whole delivery. You can not do a partial PGI.

To do the PGI, Picking quantity & Delivery quantity has to be same.

If you want to do PGI for partial quantity, then first reduce the delivery quantity accordingly and do the Picking, then PGI.
