Billing block field in display mode

Hi SAP Guru's

While raising the credit memo request or debit memo request the billing block field should be in display mode for the enduser.

I have defined the billing block in the sales document category, but the enduser is able to change the mode in sales order.

can anyone guide me how to make that field in display mode for enduser.

You can control it by authorizations. For the authorization object V_VBAK_AAT donot give authorization for 43 i.e. release.

i have tried ur method.... but still the problem is not solved.. the user is able to change the billing block field contents...

can pl help me out.

With authorizations you can definitely control. Please check thoroughly. Another option is to create a screen variant (tcode SHD0) to grey out the billing block field for the user. You can also use a user exit MV45AFZZ but you need the help of an ABAPer.

As mentioned by GSL, you can change Profiles thru T-code - PFCG.

Profiles are attached to User Id's. You can see user Id's & Profile attached to it thru T-code SU01.
