Problem in deploying WD application

Hi,

When deploying an application to the J2EE I get in the log file: 'metamodel.log' the error:

"could not resolve foreign reference:..."

for every UI element.

And I can not deploy the application to the engine.

Any ideas?

hi Aviad,

probably you have already controlled,but just as remainder

1.have you already controlled the project properties, in which SharingReferences and other refernces are mentioned.

See if they are all correctly deployed to the J2EE.

If it is not working still then please post the full log.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it did not solve the problem.

the error looks as follows:

"Jan 9, 2006 1:59:01 PM [Wa...] ...xy._retrieveForeignObject() [Thread[main,5,main]]: could not resolve foreign reference: //WebDynpro/View:co.il.iec.FavoritesView/RootUIElementContainer/Child:Table"

this line appears for every UI element.

Hi Aviad,

I havent seen this error before.May be you can try the following

1.Delete the entire view

2.Create new view

3.rebuild and reload the project

4.deploy to the j2ee engine.

OK, this is a solution, but not the prefered one for me

I can also find this error in the log:

Hi Aviad,

local/R3UserFavorites is already running or atleast locked by Portal runtime.

When you try to deploy and run again,it gives this error.

Try to release the lock of this object in your portal
