Migration Export

Hallo,

I have a small problem with the installation of Solution Manager 7 with MaxDB (Central Instance).

The installation requires an installation medium named "Migration Export" (SAP:MIG..EXPORT(1/..*), but i've only the installation mediums named "Installation Export" (2 CD's).

I've searched for the "Migration Export" but I didn't found it on SAP Marketplace.

Does anyoune have an idea where to get this installation medium?

Hallo Markus,

this was the only installation option which make sence to me.

I didn't found an installation option to install a central system

Yes - because as of SolMan SR3 32bit installations are no more supported - that's why you don't see the option to install.

You either need to use a SR2 media kit or go for 64bit (which is HIGHLY recommended).

>> Based on AS ABAP and AS Java

So you selected a system copy ) Don't do that if you want to do an installation!

it's the first SAP-System I try to install, just for testing.

I want to install a "fresh" Solution Manager, does I need an system-copy for this?

In this case you selected the wrong point during installation. What did you choose on the initial sapinst screen?
