Main Window & Variable Window.

Dear All,

Main Window is used to print continuous text, which means it is variable...then what is teh difference between main window and variable window?

Also why in scripts Main Window is always required and not in Smartforms?

Hi,

You are correct that main window is used for contineous text....

which means variable..

Variable window does.nt mean that its size should vary ..depends on contents on each page..but the text on each page for that particular window varies means variable contents.. and the window size remains the same..

Thts why its is called variable window....

For variable window the size does'nt vary....but text does..on each page...

for main window text varies ....but the window is contineous..it has not been completed... but for variable window whtever printing is there it is completed on that page itself..
