Is container number a key or field in SAP??

what is the relation between container number with delivery document and ASN????

Dear Hoo Laa

You can maintain this container number in some blank fields available in delivery document.

While planning export shipments, the exports marketing will be coordinating with shipping agent and get advance informaions like container number, feeder vessel, tentative departure of feeder vessel from origin port etc., These informations can be stored in unused fields if need be, for statistical purpose.

Hi,

You can use "Bill of Lading" field for container. It's not part of the key but a field. You would specify the container (vehicle) number along with means of transport.

I have the same problem with Hoo Laa. Along with this, "bill of lading" field can not be used. Because it's in the header of the delivery. I need a field at the item. Where can I write the container number at the item of the delivery?
