Hi,

Can anybody pls tell me when we take Condition type- BED % & BED total .

what is there effects. normally which we have to use?

BED % is consider for Product with Excise Duty in %.

Product like cement have Fixed Excise Duty & these product will call for BED in terms of Amount

BED % represent the % OF BASIC EXCISE DUTY on the goods. e.g., In case of Polyproplene the BED % is 14 but if u take the case of HSD the BED % is zero but 1600 BED is applicable per KL. So while u maintain the BED rate agaisnt the ch id u have to maintain % field where ever the BED is in % and where BED is qty based u have to maintain the BED amount.
