Hi Gurus,

I am installing solman 7.0 installation on Linux x86_64 ending with follwing error .

We tried changing permission to the file "ora_query3_tmp0_1.sql"

but sapinst is changing the permissions every time.

my tmp directory is in /WORK/SAP/<SId>/install

PLease sugest ..

Hi.. Did you figure this one out? I'm running into it on an ERP install as well.

Check that logfile and also check your alert<SID>.log (usually in /oracle/<SID>/saptrace/background).

Your database crashed - check your alert log.

What database version are you running? Latest patches applied?

I tried running sapinst as oraadmin by switching as suora but still the same issue , I hope this what you are referring to ?

maybe check to see if the user running the SAPINST and the user configured to run the SAP instances, both should be database admins?
