Hi!
I'm with a doubt about how to indicate one server, out of the SAP Database, for storage a original file of DMS.
I would like to know how i can to indicate in the configurations a content server for storage this documents.
Do I have to create a content server? How can I create this?
I don't know how to indicate a path in the configurations of DMS.
Please, any idea will be welcome!
Thank you very much!
Daniel
hi,
1.First u should install content server
2. Create Content category using T code OACO
3. Create Storage category under content repository using t code OACT
4 create Document type with check box ticked for K pro
Then ur pyysical documents will be stored in Content Server.
For Installation of content server contact ur Basis team

Thanks for the answers, but I didn't understand what kind of difference there's between content server with maxbd and a simple server for storage the documents.
Can someone get me a soon explain about this, please?
Best Regards!
Daniel

While configuring Content repository in CSADMIN
First you need to enter the content server
Then you can create Content repository in create tab
In Settings if you are going to define Storage as Filesystemstorage.dll you need not use MaxDB. instead you have to define ContrepRoot where the file will be stored
But if you have define storage as ContentStorage.dll then you must install MaxDB for storing data's

Hi,
You need to install first on separate server content server and maxdb.Once this is done create content repository in OAC0.
Send certificate to csadmin and then in OACT maintain categories.
Once this is done you should be able to see storage category in DMS.
